STARS Ambulance Dream Home
STARS Dreamhome – Interior Designer, Pamela Der has designed this years STARS dream home benefiting STARS Air Ambulance. Carpet Colour Centre is proud to be part of this worthy lottery in Central Alberta. STARS Air Ambulance has been instrumental in saving dozens of lives in Central Alberta over since it began, and we wanted to help out the cause. |
A Better World

Carpet Colour Centre has been raising funds through staff donations which are matched by our owners. H.J. Cody High School, along with Carpet Colour Centre are partnering with the Kiprengwe community to refurbish and expand their school. We hope to improve the children’s learning environment as well as establish a lasting relationship that will culminate in a holistic, broad based array of projects that make the school and community a better place to live. On top of that, the project will allow about 20 students and 10 other community members to experience the beauty and friendliness, yet be immersed in the poverty and hardship of Kenya.

Ronald McDonald House Central Alberta – Carpet Colour Centre is proud to be partnering with Ronald McDonald Childrens Charities on the newest Ronald McDonald House being built in our very own Red Deer. We will be donating interior finishes for this worthy project which supports families while receiving medical treatments at local hospitals. Look for the Carpet Colour Centre games room in this beautiful home. |
Central Alberta Women's Emergency Shelter
Angela Orr, Interior Designer for Carpet One, recently worked with a team of helpers from our store to re-design a room in the Women's Shelter. The room was transformed into a sunny, bright retreat for all who will spend time there. With the assistance of generous donations from local businesses including Brook Homes, Mcgonigal Signature Homes and Carpet Colour Centre, the room is now a happy retreat. |
National Green Select Day
Carpet One Floor & Home locations throughout North America have teamed together to clean up and beautify communities, and you're invited to join in! Each year, Carpet Colour Centre staff team up with members of the community for our annual Rotary Park cleanup. Together, we can all keep Central Alberta the greatest place in the world to live and work!

Because support for breast cancer research is so essential to eradicating the disease, Carpet One Floor & Home has made a commitment to contribute funds through our Carpet One Floor & Home Welcomes Your Support campaign. Carpet One Floor & Home donates 25% of the purchase price of our exclusive pink ribbon welcome mats to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (US) and the Canadian Cancer Society (CAN) in support of breast cancer research. Pink Ribbon welcome mats are available year round in participating Carpet One Floor & Home stores and come in a variety of designs for every season.

Our Commitment to Animal Welfare
Our love of animals has led us to support several animal friendly causes. Most recently, we donated to the Save the Tiger Fund in conjunction with our new product launch, Tigressa Softstyle. It was a natural fit for us to spread the word about the Save the Tiger Fund and do what we could to help save the animals whose majestic beauty inspired our new line. We have also partnered with animal welfare charities such as the American Human Society, the Canadian Federation for Human Societies and the Delta Society through the Muddiest Buddies campaigns which featured our worry-free Relax, It’s Lees carpet that is perfect for pet owners. |
